Trusty: born probably around December 21, 1995, a tiny black ball of fluff found alone in a dirty garage in New Haven, CT. She decided to save me for the cash in my pocket, thirty-five dollars to be exact. Who knew the joy and companionship she'd bring me, a priceless gift. And her lessons in love and loyalty, a lasting treasure. I am forever grateful, xorr

  1. Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring—it was peace. Milan Kundera
